Day 5

Hello again Readers...

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! This weekend I ran 5K with a fabulous company called Park Run who do five and ten kilometre runs all across Britain. It's a positive way to keep healthy an there are lots of fun, kind and supportive people who help organise these weekly events. This is me crossing the line shattered but equally pumped after running.

Today... I wanted a more casual look as it sometimes isn't that comfortable trying to concentrate in shirts, jumpers an dresses. So today I wear...
Top:  £25 Leeds Fest Merchandise
Shorts: £15 International
Pumps £25 Vans @ Such
Cardigan: £25 Boutique in Austria.

Tip of the day... Change your look. You don't always have to appear like a rocker or a girly, girl. Wear things you like. You don't necessarily have to fit into a clique. If you feel good in something, wear it, you don't have to have just one taste.

Problem of the day... Do I look okay in this? Do these things work?

Solution... It's okay to get things wrong. We are allowed to make fashion mistakes. We aren't all fortunate enough to have an on hand stylist and make up artist to tell us what looks good and what looks wrong, so don't worry! Even celebs  make serious fashion crimes!

So here's my outfit! See you all tomorrow. Keep reading, please post any comments to help me improve my blog. If you like my posts please share my page! Thank you!

Day 4

Hello again Readers.

Today I slept in! Making my usual mad rush morning even more hectic! I went for a warmer attire today as it was raining however still warm enough to wear a skirt without tights.
Skirt. Handmade my super talented Mum
Shirt. George at ASDA £6 again hand embellished by my super talented mum.
Jumper. Also George at ASDA. £8.00
Socks Small boutique in Austria, price unknown
Cowboy Boots Small boutique in Austria. £65

Tip of the day...
Sometimes you have to splash out. These boots, although expensive, are a key item of mine that I wear with many outfits. They're so versatile and I most defiantly feel that I have gained from paying for them. If you want them save up for them and wear them out!!

Problem of the day... I don't know why shoes to wear!!

Solution... Dress appropriately for the weather. I considered wearing sandals today however I realise what a silly idea this would have been. It would have looked inappropriate and been completely unpractical. I've also found that for college comfy is better. However, this is not an excuse to wear boring shoes. Sensible doesn't have to be dull. You can get some gorgeous pumps, and boots at reasonable prices.

Talking of shoes...  You will never find me in a pair of UGG boots. Although comfy I believe it is a fashion crime to be seen in them. They're overpriced, and unsubstantial and lack sophistication. Sorry to offend anyone, however this is just my opinion.

It's Friday!!
Have a good weekend!

Day 3

Hello Readers...
Sorry for the late post, today had been super busy for me. As usual it was back to the 6 am start so today's outfit had to be rushed! Here we go!!
Dress £8.50 New look
Cardigan £35 Fern Cotton's own brand
Shoes £25 Marks and Spencer
Belt Price unknown, River Island
Socks £1 Primark

Tip of the day...  Shop in the sales! You can get items at a much more reasonable price! I've also found that there are some items that are only brought out at sale time. Also look for outlet stores and places like TK MAXX. Although these places are often described as 'jumble sales' you can often find rare items that are at reasonable prices. Again you need time to rummage and find the hidden key fashion gems.

Problem of the day... I don't have anything to wear!!

Solution of the day... Not True! I say this every day and the simple fact is I'm just not inspired by what items to put together. I know it's easy to say but plan ahead. Try to prepare what you are wearing the night before. I have often found that the outfits I feel most happy with I have decided on the night before. I know it's easy to say this as I'm the worst for leaving things till the last minute however I've found that planning ahead the night before saves me more time in the mornings!

Hope this helps readers.

Day 2

Morning Readers!

Today's look is a bit more fun and girly. I had more time to get ready this morning and so was able to spend more time planning what I was going to wear. I absolutely love the skirt I'm wearing today as its so versatile and can be dressed up with an net underskirt and heels for a night time look or a T-shirt and converse for daytime.
Top Red or Dead, purchased from Bank, price £10
Skirt Tulisa, purchased from Bank, price £12
Shoes Converse, purchased from Office, price £25.

Tip of the day... I hand embellished these shoes with ribbon and crystals to give a quirky look. There are companies that can do this for you, however this can be costly and I had so much fun making these. I also did this to my prom shoes which I bought from eBay for £20. I would suggest this to anyone with a creative flare however be warned this can be quite time consuming.

Problem of the day!
As I have recently died my fringe blue I have found it quite challenging to keep the colour.

Solution of the day!
Using a silver shampoo can help maintain the vibrant colour of your hair. I would also suggest trying to avoid washing it as much as possible and to avoid greasy hair use Batiste dry shampoo. This stuff is amazing! It smells fabulous and can also add volume to your hair rather than using other expensive products. I would definitely recommend trying this.

Hope you all have a brilliant day.

Just to add...

This is my new shoe storage system as my collection has got out of control! My super talented Mum painted these shoe boxes in my favourite colour to give a quirky, original look. Plus, I get to display my favourite shoes for everyone to envy and still be organised!

Day 1.

Today is My first day of college!! I was in a bit of a rush so quickly threw this together as I have to get up at 6 every morning!! So here we go...
Shirt: George at Asda, price unknown max £10
Shorts: Boutique in Austria. Price unknown. Bought in Sale so no more than £10
Shoes: DC. Bought in Sale, Price £18
Bag: O'NEILL, bought in Outlet store £15.

Tip of the day. As I curvy girl I like to still dress nicely. These shorts are probably not the most flattering and so I suggest you dress for your shape. However don't be put off by trying something new. Experiment with your style and find your own individual, original look.

A bit of information

Here's how my blog will work... Each day I will post a picture of what I'm wearing; where I bought it from and how much it cost. I will also post a tip of the day, giving useful hints as how to use key items however never wear the same outfit twice. I have a limited clothes budget as I am a student and I want to prove that you can always look fabulous no matter what your budget is. My next post will prove this point exactly. Keep reading friends.
